Doors and trim

Scratched door faces get filled, sanded and painted, or the door gets replaced if it's through the skin. Chewed baseboard and casing get replaced to match. Door frames shredded by a cat get patched or replaced. A metal kick plate or a clear scratch guard on the inside of the door stops the next round.

Screens and pet doors

Torn screens get pet-resistant mesh. A pet door that was cut in crooked or leaks air gets reset or replaced with one that seals.

Floors

Urine that got into laminate swells it, and swollen planks get replaced. On wood, it stains and sometimes lifts the finish; boards get replaced. Tile is fine; the grout isn't, and it gets cleaned, resealed or regrouted.
