Questions and answers
The things people ask before they book a handyman: what it costs to get a quote, how fast we can come, what's covered, and who shows up.
- Do you do small jobs or only big remodels?
- Small jobs are most of our work. Drywall patches, door and cabinet repairs, minor plumbing and electrical, painting touch-ups, fence and gate fixes. If you have several small items, we do them in one visit.
- Is there a minimum charge?
- No published minimum. If a single item is very small, we'll suggest bundling a few things into one visit so the trip is worth it for both of us.
- How do you charge — hourly or by the job?
- Fixed price per job, quoted before we start. If we open a wall or floor and find damage nobody could see beforehand, we stop, show you, and re-quote before doing more.
- Do you charge for an estimate?
- No, quotes are free.
- How fast can you come out?
- We reply within one business day, and most jobs get scheduled within a week.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Licensed, bonded and insured. Arizona ROC #366903.
- Do you guarantee your work?
- One-year warranty on our workmanship. If something we did fails in that window, we come back and fix it.
- Who actually shows up at my house?
- Levi, the owner, plus a helper or two depending on the job. Not a rotating crew of subcontractors.
- Do you do electrical and plumbing?
- Small work yes — outlets, switches, fixtures, ceiling fans, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, shower heads, supply lines. Anything larger, like a panel or a re-pipe, goes to our licensed trade partners.
- Do you supply the parts or do I?
- Either. We can supply materials, or you buy them and we install.
- What areas do you serve?
- Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Cave Creek and Paradise Valley — anywhere in metro Phoenix.
- What are your hours?
- Monday through Friday, 9 to 5.
- How long have you been doing this?
- More than five years of residential remodeling and repair work in the Phoenix area.
- Can you handle a rental or a property I don't live at?
- Yes. We work with landlords and property managers, including turnover punch lists between tenants.
- What if I'm not sure what's wrong?
- Send a photo and a short description. We can usually tell you what you're looking at and roughly what it takes to fix.
