Dryer Vent Repair and Rerouting in Phoenix

The dryer that takes two cycles, the vent that's crushed behind the machine, the flap outside that's stuck open. Fixed, and the fire risk with it.

Arizona ROC #366903 · Licensed, Bonded & Insured

A dryer that takes two cycles to dry a load usually has a vent problem, not a dryer problem. The duct is crushed, disconnected, too long, or full of lint. Lint in a hot duct is a fire risk. We fix the duct, replace the parts that fail, and reroute vents that were run wrong.

What goes wrong

The flexible foil duct behind the dryer gets crushed when the machine is pushed back. Lint builds up at every bend and in the outside cap. The cap's flap sticks open and lets in hot air and birds. Vents that run up through the roof or a long way through the attic clog faster.

What we do

Replace crushed or foil duct with rigid or semi-rigid metal duct. Reconnect disconnected sections. Replace the outside cap and the flap. Shorten runs where possible. Add a recessed dryer box behind the machine so the duct can't be crushed. We clean short runs and can help with cleaning a long run too.
