Drawer Repair in Phoenix
Drawers that stick, drop, fall out or come apart at the corners. New slides, a reglued box, a front that stays on.
Arizona ROC #366903 · Licensed, Bonded & Insured
A drawer that sticks or drops usually has a worn slide. It's parts and adjustments, not new cabinets.
Slides
Drawers fail at the slides. Side-mount ball-bearing slides bend or lose their bearings. The older white roller slides wear their wheels flat, and that's the drawer that drops down and jams when you pull it out. Undermount slides, the hidden ones on newer kitchens, come off their rear brackets. All of them get replaced with slides of the same type and length, and a slide rated for more weight goes in under the pots-and-pans drawer, because that's the one that always fails first.
Drawer boxes and fronts
A drawer box that's come apart at a corner gets reglued and clamped. A bottom that's dropped out of its groove goes back in, or gets replaced with a thicker one if it bowed. A box whose sides have swollen from a leak under the sink gets rebuilt. The false front, the decorative panel on the outside of the drawer, is held with two or four screws from inside, and when it works loose or hangs crooked, it gets reset square.
Soft-close and full-extension
Any drawer can get soft-close slides, so it glides shut on its own, and full-extension slides, so the back of the drawer comes all the way out where you can reach it. Both are a slide swap, and both fit most existing drawer boxes. Undermount soft-close slides need a box sized for them, and we'll tell you if yours is.

Questions
- Can you fix a drawer that falls off its track?
- Yes. The slides are worn or bent and get replaced with the same type. Heavier slides go in if the drawer carries pots.
- Can you install the soft-close slides I bought?
- Yes. Send a photo of the drawer from the side with it pulled out, and the slide's length, and we'll confirm they fit before the visit.
