Windows

Retrofit windows fit inside the old frame's opening without tearing out the stucco. New-construction windows replace the whole frame and need the stucco cut back and repaired. We'll tell you which your house needs. Dual-pane low-E glass is standard here and makes a real difference on a west wall.

Doors

Pre-hung entry doors, side-yard doors, garage-to-house doors and patio doors. Fiberglass or light-colored steel for sun-facing doors. The new unit gets set plumb, foamed and sealed, with new weatherstripping, a threshold, and the lock of your choice.

Permits

Replacing a window or door in the same opening is treated city by city. Mesa doesn't require a permit if the opening and energy rating stay the same. Scottsdale requires a minimum permit for replacement windows unless only the glass changes. Glendale requires one if the opening size changes. We'll tell you which rule applies.
