Concrete in Phoenix cracks from the heat, the soil and water. A patio slab with a crack and no height difference is a sealing job. A walkway that's lifted on one side is a trip hazard and a bigger job. Steps that are flaking at the edges can be patched. We do the repairs and the small pours, and we can help with new patios and driveways too.
Cracks
Hairline cracks in a slab get cleaned and filled with a flexible concrete sealant so water stays out. Water in a crack is what makes it grow. A crack with one side higher than the other is movement, and it's worth having looked at first.
Spalling and chips
Concrete that's flaking at the surface or chipped at an edge, usually on steps and patio edges, gets patched with a repair mortar and finished to match. A whole surface that's spalling gets resurfaced with an overlay.
Lifted and sunken sections
A walkway section that's lifted from a tree root or sunk from soil washing out underneath gets ground down where it's a trip hazard, lifted and re-bedded, or cut out and repoured. Which one depends on the size, and the quote says.
Small pours
A pad for the AC unit, a step, a short walkway, a mow strip along the block wall, a pad for the trash cans, a landing at a door. These are small enough to mix on site and pour in a morning.
Bigger pours
