Phoenix backyards are used in the evening and the shoulder seasons, and what's in them has to survive the summer. We build and repair the structures that make a yard usable: sheds, ramadas and shade structures, raised garden beds, trash and pool-equipment enclosures, and the counters and frames of outdoor kitchens.
Sheds
A shed on a level base, anchored so a monsoon wind doesn't move it. Wood or metal, built on site or a kit assembled and anchored properly. A shed that's leaning or rotted at the base gets a new base and the bad boards replaced. Sheds under a certain size usually don't need a permit, and we'll tell you where yours falls.
Ramadas, pergolas and shade sails
A ramada is a roofed shade structure; a pergola has open slats. Both go on posts set in concrete, sized for the span, and both are the difference between a patio you use and one you don't. Shade sails are quicker: posts or wall mounts rated for the pull of the sail in wind. Existing structures get rotted boards replaced, posts reset and a fresh seal.
Raised beds, hose reels and small yard builds
Raised garden beds in wood or block, with liner and drainage. Hose reel mounts into the block wall. Trash can and pool equipment enclosures that hide the equipment and let it breathe. Playhouses and small retaining walls.
Outdoor kitchens
We repair outdoor kitchens: the block or frame structure, the counter, the doors and drawers, the tile and stucco. We can help with the gas line too.

- Do I need a permit for a shed?
- Small sheds usually don't. Bigger ones and anything with electrical do. We'll tell you where your plan lands.
- Can you build a ramada over my patio?
- Yes. Posts in concrete, sized for the span, with a solid or lattice roof. Attached-to-the-house versions need a permit in most cities.
- Do you install the grill?
- We build and repair the structure around it, and we can help with the gas line too.
